06.29 Walking Tour: The Hapgoods: Architects of the West End and Beyond by John Rose

Stroll down the Avenue (Prospect that is) and enjoy the beauty and histories of Hapgood designed houses commissioned in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by Hartford’s “Movers and Shakers”.

Meet at the Sunrise Overlook on the east side of Prospect Avenue – overlooking downtown and Elizabeth Park’s Great East Lawn at 2:00pm. The tour is free and open to the public, no registration required. The tour will be held rain or shine, so come prepared with good walking shoes, water, and sunscreen or umbrella.
