West End PorchFest 2020 – Postponed until 2021

It is with a heavy heart that I share that the West End Porchfest committee came to the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Porchfest with the hopes that we can continue on Sunday, September 12, 2021.
We are erring on the side of caution and taking the lead from our fellow Porchfest events large and small in all types of communities that have also decided to cancel.
We are buoyed by the many musicians who are hosting concerts on their porches and inviting neighbors to drop by throughout this time.
We plan to invite neighbors to donate food to the little pantries in the neighborhood with the committee picking up the donations on the original date of Porchfest – Sept 13, 2020. This is not a replacement for getting together and celebrating live music and neighborhood spirit but a small way to continue giving back and supporting those who need our help.
My best to you all for your support. I am hopeful to plan a beautiful and celebratory event with all of you in 2021.
